At New Zealand Rugby, our events and experiences bring the game, our partners and our people together. We’re looking for an experienced Events Manager to join us for 12 months to help shape, plan and deliver high-quality events and experiences. These range from partner events and match enhancements to supporting Teams in Black and delivering pinnacle events.

 


About the role


In this role, you will support and take responsibility for planning, budgeting and delivering a range of events across the business. You will prepare event proposals, briefs, timelines and run-sheets; manage event budgets and guest communications; and work with suppliers or external agencies. You will ensure events are delivered to agreed standards, with a five-star service mindset, a focus on continuous improvement, and strong alignment to our values.

 


About You


You will bring strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, alongside a proactive, solution-focused mindset. You will have 5+ years’ experience in events and experiences, or in sports and entertainment, as well as strong budgeting and project planning capability.


You’ll be known for your communication and relationship-building skills, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail, and a passion for creativity, innovation and raising the bar.
