We are looking for a dynamic Head of Communications to support our strategic communication efforts. In this pivotal role, you will drive communication strategies across a spectrum of areas including community and professional rugby, diversity initiatives, and corporate communications.

 

Reporting directly to the Chief Communications Officer, you will collaborate to design initiatives that enhance NZR's profile and engage a broad spectrum of stakeholders. This role is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on one of the world's most beloved sports brands. You'll also lead a talented team of communications professionals, fostering an environment of creativity and high performance.

 

 

What We’re Looking For
•    A passion for making a difference to people’s lives with a strong commitment to purpose driven communications. 
•    Extensive experience in communications, media management, and public relations, ideally within a sports or similar dynamic environment.
•    A proven track record in demonstrating effective leadership and the ability to mentor and grow a team.
•    Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various internal and external parties, enhancing relationships and advancing NZR’s goals.
