Finance Business Partner
Overview
New Zealand Rugby has an exciting opportunity available! We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join us to support the organisation in critical areas for the successful delivery of our strategy.
About the role
This role is more than just crunching numbers, you will be a strategic partner to the business, working closely with teams across the organisation to drive financial insight and performance.
You’ll bring together financial acumen and commercial curiosity to support key portfolios with everything from monthly reporting and forecasting to shaping our long-term financial strategy. Whether you’re guiding budget managers or influencing project decisions, you’ll play a vital role in supporting NZ Rugby to make informed, confident financial decisions across the business.
About you
You’re a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least seven years post-qualification experience, ideally in a complex environment. Beyond your technical capability, you’re known for your commercial savvy, sound judgement and ability to translate financials into action.
You love working alongside the business – building strong relationships, guiding decision making and influencing outcomes. You’re proactive, analytical and seek continuous improvement.
