About the role 


As our Procurement Project Manager, you'll lead a strategic program aimed at improving our procurement processes through organisational change management. With over $40 million of spend invested annually, your role will be crucial in enhancing efficiency and maximising value across all our procurement activities.


In this role you will craft and execute an integrated procurement plan, analyse current practice, identify system requirements and engage with staff on procurement process improvements. You will be comfortable leading regular project meetings, setting key deliverables and managing potential risks. This fixed term role is responsible for implementing best practice standards and the embedding of procurement processes in New Zealand Rugby’s ways of working.

 

About you 

 

You will bring with you a minimum of three years in procurement with comprehensive knowledge of strategic and operational practices. You will be an expert problem solver, well organised with a knack for building effective relationships. A knowledge or interest in rugby would be helpful too!
