Business Support Lead

 

 

Support the Chief Commercial Officer and wider Commercial team through an exciting period for rugby!

 

 

We’re looking for a highly capable Business Support Lead to provide executive, operational and project support across our Commercial team. In this role, you’ll be the trusted right hand to the Chief Commercial Officer, a key support to the NZRC Board Chair, and an essential connector for the wider organisation. This role is 12-month fixed term parental leave cover. 

 

 

 

About this role


You will help to keep a high profile commercial portfolio running smoothly, managing calendars, travel, meetings and comms. You support the NZRC Board Chair with organised, high quality admin, ensure budgets stay on track, and keep commercial projects moving by aligning timelines, tracking progress and preparing updates. At the centre of it all, you act as the key organiser across people, priorities and initiatives so the Commercial team stays connected and performing well.

 

 

 

About you 


You bring experience providing high level executive support, working effectively with Boards, senior leaders and cross functional teams. You are happy to coordinate multiple projects at the same time, stay on top of complex schedules and priorities, and you bring excellent communication skills and professional maturity. You can work independently, use sound judgement and consistently deliver high quality work in an exciting, evolving sports environment. 

 

This role requires flexibility and the ability to support international stakeholders across time zones, particularly during peak commercial and touring periods.
