At New Zealand Rugby, rugby is more than just a game, it connects communities and inspires people across Aotearoa and around the world. We are looking for a Global Marketing Manager to lead the brand and marketing strategy for the Black Ferns. Working alongside the GM Brand & Marketing, this role will shape the direction of the brand in New Zealand and across priority global markets, helping grow the audience and engagement behind one of the country's most exciting teams.

 

 


About the role
This is a chance to be a part of history and set the Black Ferns brand up for success in a pinnacle year. You will set the long term brand strategy and turn it into campaigns that connect with fans, both here at home and around the world. You will bring together people from across NZR and our agency partners to deliver exceptional work, and help fill stadiums through our test match ticketing campaigns. You will be the go to person at NZR for everything Black Ferns brand, working closely with players, team management and our commercial partners. You will also lead a Marketing Coordinator, helping them grow while you build our Teams in Black brands together.

 

 


About you
You are an experienced brand and marketing leader with a strong track record of managing brands with a global reach, and delivering successful campaigns across digital, content and influencer marketing. You use research and insights to guide your thinking, are confident managing agencies and budgets, and thrive in a dynamic, direct-to-consumer environment. You are a natural relationship builder who can influence at all levels, and you enjoy developing the people around you. Most importantly, you are motivated by the opportunity to grow a brand that is inspiring the next generation of players and fans, and to help take the Black Ferns story to the world.
