Black Ferns Assistant Coach - Forwards
New Zealand Rugby seeks applicants for the following Assistant Coach position to support the Head Coach prepare the Black Ferns for the Rugby World Cup 2029.
Assistant Coach – Forwards - Set Piece
The Assistant Coach is required to support and contribute to the coaching, selection and development of the Black Ferns team. Accountable to the Head Coach, the Assistant Coaches primary responsibility will be to coach Forward set piece play – scrum and lineout - and to assist with other aspects of team preparation depending on skill set. (please state preference in your application).
>> Candidates must have recent Professional coaching experience in New Zealand with a minimum of NPC / FPC level.
Beyond discipline-specific expertise and experience, candidates should have a good knowledge and understanding of the game as well as outstanding organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. A strong empathy for the values which underpin New Zealand Rugby will need to be demonstrated, as will high levels of integrity, passion, and competitive drive.
