Black Ferns Lead Performance Analyst

New Zealand Rugby seeks applicants for the following Performance Analyst position to support the coaching and playing group to prepare the Black Ferns for the Rugby World Cup 2029.

 

 

Black Ferns Performance Analyst - Lead


The Performance Analyst - Lead is responsible for the delivery of high-quality performance analysis services for the Black Ferns high performance rugby program. This role contributes to training, matchday and opposition analysis workflows, providing timely, accurate and actionable video and data insights that inform coaching decision-making, player development and tactical planning.

 


Accountable to the Head Coach and in partnership with the coaching and playing group, the Black Ferns Analyst plays a key role in maintaining analytical standards, supporting innovation, and ensuring alignment with the Black Ferns High Performance strategy and game model.

 

 


>> Candidates must have recent experience in rugby, with a minimum of NPC / FPC experience.

 

 

Beyond discipline-specific expertise and experience, candidates should have a good knowledge and understanding of the game as well as outstanding organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.  A strong empathy for the values which underpin New Zealand Rugby will need to be demonstrated, as will high levels of integrity, passion, and competitive drive.
