Health and Safety Advisor

About The Role

 

 

Location: Wellington
Full time, fixed-term (6 months)


We’re looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join our team and lead the way in supporting a strong, positive safety culture across our organisation and the wider rugby system.

 


In this role, you’ll:


•    Drive the implementation of our ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management System
•    Support safe environments for athletes, staff, volunteers, and spectators
•    Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training
•    Provide guidance to Super Clubs, Provincial Unions, and national teams
•    Analyse trends and champion continuous improvement

 

 

We’re looking for someone with:


•    A tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or similar
•    3+ years’ advisory experience
•    Experience with ISO 45001 implementation or auditing
•    Strong understanding of risk management and incident investigation
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Sporting or event experience is beneficial
