Legacy Fund Manager
Overview
New Zealand Rugby have an exciting opportunity available as an 18 month Fixed Term position. We’re looking for a purpose-driven, highly organised professional to lead the operations and growth of the Legacy Fund Charitable Trust – a fund that exists to empower communities and honour the legacy of New Zealand Rugby.
About the Role
In this role you’ll take the lead on all aspects of managing the Legacy Fund – from overseeing governance and compliance, to guiding funding decisions, engaging with applicants, and identifying new philanthropic opportunities. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the Fund delivers meaningful, measurable impact while maintaining the highest standards of transparency and effectiveness.
About You
You’ll bring proven experience in grant management, philanthropy, or charitable operations, along with strong knowledge of governance, compliance, and charitable trusts. With exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders, you’re highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive. Most importantly, you’re passionate about community sport and committed to creating long-term social impact.
