Marketing Coordinator
Overview
New Zealand Rugby Commercial has an exciting opportunity available. We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our winning team on a fixed term to support a variety of brand and fan engagement campaigns in the domestic market. This opportunity is to cover for one of our team member’s while they are on parental leave.
About the role
As the Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in executing initiatives across the annual calendar, working closely with agencies to produce media and digital assets, coordinating external requests for marketing materials, and distributing assets to maximise reach. Additionally, you will support fan engagement events, including logistical support for domestic matches, ensuring seamless, high-quality fan experiences. This role also involves coordinating the reporting of marketing activities, helping us track our impact and improve our efforts.
To be successful in this role we’re looking for someone who:
- Has a passion for sports marketing and fan engagement.
- Is organised, creative, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects with ease.
- Has a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a marketing role and is proficient with social media platforms and marketing tools.
- Proven experience in supporting retail marketing campaigns at a national level
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in working with external creative and media agencies
- Understanding of producing reports and budget management would be desirable
- A tertiary degree in marketing and/or management discipline
