About The Role

 

Lead the All Blacks social media strategy as we head into two pinnacle years with Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry, Rugby World Cup and Lions tours.


The Senior Digital & Social Media Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping how fans experience the All Blacks and wider Teams in Black across digital and social platforms. This is a rare opportunity to lead the strategic direction across social media of some of the most iconic sporting brands in the world, ensuring our digital presence is bold, innovative and deeply connected to fans. This is a leadership role with the responsibility of two direct reports.

 


About The Role
-    You will lead the social media strategy for the All Blacks with a focus on organic social media creation
-    You’re responsible for building the strategy and delivering content across social first channels – Meta, Tik Tok, YouTube Shorts
-    Support the creative team on the creation of content for the channels
-    Lead a team of two including the Black Ferns Social Media Manager and the All Blacks and Black Ferns Tik Tok lead
-    Work with the Creative Content team to ensure the delivery of fan focused content, commercial rights and marketing content across our channels.
-    Represent the fans and the Teams in Black values in all areas of work.

 

 

About You
You’re an experienced digital leader with a strong background managing high profile social channels and producing standout video and social content. You’re confident working at pace, making informed decisions, interpreting performance data and balancing creative ambition with commercial needs. You bring strong copywriting and editing skills, a deep understanding of digital trends, experience guiding others and the ability to build trust quickly in high performance environments. You’re adaptable, collaborative and excited by the opportunity to shape the digital presence of one of the world’s most iconic teams.
